A day in the life...

As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining the human resource database and all employee records and files, while also completing assigned reporting functions involving attendance tracking, terminations, hires, transfers, and other HR-related data. You will support various areas of HR, including employee relations, staffing, onboarding, employee engagement, and company culture initiatives. You will also provide recommendations on the development and administration of HR policies and programs and assist in communicating these policies to new employees. You are the first point of contact for HR related issues or questions, and will need to have an entrepreneur mindset to own projects and create impactful change.

What you will be doing...



  • Running HRIS reports to track new hires, terminations, and leaves of absence.
  • Initiating Pre-employment screenings, onboarding paperwork, and maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Coordinating internal HR events such as trainings, "lunch and learns," and business updates.
  • Analyzing HR data to identify trends and support action plans that improve HR initiatives.
  • Serving as an employee point of contact, answering routine HR questions, resolving concerns and promoting positive workplace relations.
  • Assisting in policy development and reviews.
  • Assisting with Payroll and timecards approvals along with Attendance tracking and reporting.
  • Backup for New Hire Orientation as needed.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and maintain compliance with food safety standards.
  • Complete and follow FSQA training and programs to comply with regulatory requirements, ensure consumer safety, and support the plant's food safety and quality objectives.
  • Promptly report and take appropriate action on any observed or potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non-conformities by notifying the designated plant supervisor, in accordance with your role and responsibilities.
  • Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the company's Food Safety Culture through engagement and actions aligned with your role.

Do you have what it takes?

(Basic Qualifications)



  • At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources, Customer Service, or Clerical related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with data entry, document editing, and file management.
  • Strong collaboration, relationship building, and communication skills.
  • Ability to be on site 5 days a week, 8am-5pm Monday - Friday.

(Preferred Qualifications)



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in leave administration, with knowledge of FMLA and related regulations.
  • 3+ years of exposure to various Human Resource functions.
  • Experience using HR systems such as Workday and ApplicantStack.
  • Basic understanding of Employment Law.
