Salary:

FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Your Responsibilities:

As an Application Engineer at FUCHS, you will play a critical role in bridging technical expertise with commercial strategy. Your key responsibilities include:



  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between commercial teams and R&D to drive new product development and optimize existing portfolios.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives for aerospace, semiconductor, and related industry segments.
  • Provide expert technical guidance on grease and fluid lubricants for targeted industries.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify new business opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Champion FUCHS' culture of innovation, delivering comprehensive lubrication solutions to meet market needs.
  • Develop proposals and technical recommendations for new products and applications based on market insights.
  • Navigate approval processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Partner with product managers to support lifecycle management, product approvals, and training initiatives.
  • Lead customer field trials and technical projects, including coordination, analysis, and reporting.
  • Engage cross-functional teams (sales, key account management, business development) to ensure successful project execution and knowledge sharing.
  • Represent FUCHS at trade organizations and industry events, strengthening our market presence.
  • Contribute to global and regional technical communities, sharing expertise and best practices.
  • Develop and utilize training materials, product guides, case studies, and marketing collateral to support internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a collaborative team member within the product management and application engineering group.



Qualifications we are looking for:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business or Science related backgrounds
  • 3+ years of either business, engineering, or sales experience
  • Strong knowledge of lubrication, engineering, or aerospace industry
  • Open to travel (10-20%)
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid work setting (remote and onsite)
