What to Expect
The Engineering Technician will be tasked with various duties including but not limited to writing work orders based on field diagnosis/inspection, administrative duties, generating weekly/monthly reports, failure mode investigation, and preparation of work orders for execution and root cause analysis of early failures. Scope includes all technologies employed with assigning work to maintenance technicians and team within our Cathode Manufacturing Team. Responsibilities include the support of planning and coordinating planned maintenance activities to improve and sustain equipment availability and performance.

What You'll Do
  • Support the planning and upcoming mechanical and electrical projects, coordinating with design engineering and maintenance engineering teams
  • Standardize Maintenance Check lists and PM formats (Flux)
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff, engineering design team and external vendors on maintenance activities
  • Develop and monitor schedules according to requirements and plans
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production team to plan activities for scheduled shutdowns
  • Coordinate with maintenance scheduler and operations specialists on project execution timelines

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 2 + years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the needs of vendors, internal maintenance and engineering team timelines, objectives and goals
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Root cause analysis and lean manufacturing processes
  • Ability to communicate clearly and interface with multiple engineering disciplines, vendors, craft experts, as well as executives
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
