About the Role:

WearelookingforaSeniorElectricalEngineertojoinourNanoindentationteaminZurich.Inthishands-onrole,youwilldesign,develop,andoptimisecontrolelectronicsforourindustry-leadingNanoindenterproducts,whichprovideunparalleledinsightsintomaterialpropertiesatthemicroandnanoscale.

Thisisanexcitingopportunitytoworkacrossallstagesofelectronicsdevelopment-fromconceptandsimulationtosystemintegration

- while collaborating with talented software, hardware, and production teams across our global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Design,simulate,implement,andverifyanaloganddigitalcircuits,includingmicrocontrollersandFPGA-basedsystems
  • Leadallphasesofelectronicsdevelopment,fromfeasibilitystudiestosystemintegration
  • Selectandevaluateelectroniccomponentsforfunctionality,availability,andcost
  • ContributetoembeddedsoftwareandVHDLdevelopment,ensuringsmoothcollaborationbetweenelectronicsandsoftwareteams
  • EnsurecompliancewithrelevantstandardssuchasEMC,LowVoltageDirective,andRoHS
  • Documentdesigns,testingprocesses,andresultsclearlyinEnglish
  • Supportexistingandnewproductlines,includingengineeringchangemanagementandproductionhandover
  • Providetechnicalsupporttoproductionandcustomersupportteams
