In this vital position at SWCA, theSenior Employee Engagement Communications Coordinator(HR Title = Senior Marketing Content Developer) amplifies why SWCA is a great place to work-both inside and outside of the organization.

As a member of the Content Marketing team, you'll partner closely with Talent Acquisition and additional internal stakeholders to develop and deliver communication and marketing strategies to reach qualified candidates and retain current employees.This role amplifies employee engagement, communications and experience, and operational support and values that make SWCA a great place to work.

This is a full-time, regular (with benefits), salaried, fully remote position based out of anywhere in the United States.

What you will accomplish

Employee Engagement & Storytelling

  • Research, collaborate with marketing/content team on quarterly priorities and communication strategies that celebrate SWCA's culture, values, and people.
  • Collaborate with HR to amplify initiatives such as career development, internship program, employee ownership (ESOP), DEI programs, and community engagement internally and externally.
  • Partner with internal teams to capture, distribute and evaluate employee stories that reflect the employee experience for distribution on internal and external platforms.

Culture & Brand Amplification

  • Serve as a champion for SWCA's value proposition, ensuring it's reflected consistently across internal and external communications.
  • Collaborate with various channel owners to share important moments and milestones on external platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Comparably and the SWCA website.
  • Identify opportunities to elevate our employer reputation through thought leadership, storytelling campaigns, and strategic partnerships.
  • Support external channels strategically (e.g., careers website, awards, review platforms) to mirror and reinforce internal culture.
  • Identify and coordinate the completion of awards submittals aimed at amplifying the SWCA brand both internally and externally.

Strategic Communications & Campaigns

  • Develop integrated communication plans to support companywide initiatives and announcements like Open Enrollment, Performance Management Cycles, Employee Ownership Month, and other critical employee-ownership moments in time.
  • Leverage data and feedback to measure engagement, refine strategies, and identify new ways to inspire and connect employees.
  • Work closely with HR, Marketing, and other stakeholders to build communication toolkits, templates, and messaging guides that help teams tell the SWCA story.

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and customize training, tools, and templates to equip recruiters and hiring managers to tell our story effectively to attract and nurture candidates.
  • Learn and use a variety of talent acquisition platforms, like Comparably, iCIMS, LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team and local offices to develop recruitment marketing materials for recruitment efforts.
  • Develop communication plans and coordinate campaigns in alignment with other company initiatives and announcements.

Experience and qualifications for success

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, mass communications, or related field.
  • At least seven (7) years of professional experience outside of school required.
  • Proven experience with communications, content marketing, content development, or copywriting required.
  • Experience with employer brand content, recruitment marketing, inclusion and diversity communications, people-centric storytelling, or HR marketing and communications preferred.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills for multiple mediums (applicants will be asked to provide writing samples during the application process).
  • Familiarity with basic principles in AP Style, storytelling, communications, and digital marketing.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Customer service-oriented and able to build strong working relationships with internal clients.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with or ability to learn simple video editing and graphic design applications, such as Canva.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

SWCA is committed to salary equity and salary transparency for all its employees. In alignment with this commitment, SWCA posts good faith pay ranges in all its advertised job postings to promote pay equity and transparency.

An employee in this position can expect a salary of $74,963/year to $97,011/year (salary for Average Cost of Labor market). Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
