Procurement Manager Marketing - Indirect Spend

Sonova is seeking a Procurement Manager Generalist to join our dynamic team in Chicago. This role is integral to the management of all aspects of indirect spend across North America. The ideal candidate will be responsible for devising and implementing effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relations, and ensuring cost-effective purchases that align with company goals and standards.

The role will co-manage a spend of 100MUSD across all Sonva business units and companies in the Americas.

Responsibilities:



  • Develop and adapt procurement strategies based on market trends and indirect spend categories.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate favorable contracts and terms.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor procurement performance metrics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement with departmental and business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external legal standards.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement projects and resolve process challenges.
  • Communicate procurement plans and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.



More about you:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, marketing field background, highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 year procurement experience with at least 3 years in Indirect Procurement.
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in procurement tools (P2P, SAP, Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communicator and team player with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments; international experience is a plus



A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between $88,000/yr - $132,000/yr. This role is also bonus eligible.
