Job description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead our product strategy, roadmap execution, and team development. This role is responsible for driving product innovation, aligning cross-functional teams, and delivering solutions that meet customer needs and accelerate business growth. You will build a product organization from the ground-up while collaborating closely with engineering, design, marketing, and executive leadership teams. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership - Define and drive the long-term product vision and strategy in alignment with company goals. - Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities to inform product direction. - Translate business objectives into actionable product initiatives. Team Management and Development - Establish a product organization with strong, repeatable processes to drive growth through technology. - Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product managers. - Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. Execution and Delivery - Oversee product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration. - Ensure timely delivery of high-impact features and products. - Partner with engineering and design to ensure technical feasibility and user-centric design. - Gather and prioritize requirements; elevate business and operational thinking by identifying process improvements and elegant solutions to meet our goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure product-market fit and successful go-to-market strategies. - Vet and manage vendors to supplement team capabilities and maximize impact. - Serve as a key voice in executive discussions, representing the product perspective. Metrics and Performance - Define and track KPIs to measure product success and inform decision-making. - Use data and customer insights to drive prioritization and continuous improvement. Qualifications: - 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Proven success in building and scaling product teams and launching impactful technology products. - Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Experience working in Agile environments and with modern product tools (e.g., Jira, Figma, Productboard, Trello). - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). Preferred Experience: - Exposure to AI, workflow automation, and related technologies, especially in operational contexts. - Background in e.g., SaaS, enterprise software, consumer tech, healthcare, life sciences. - Able to operate in compliant and highly-regulated environments, strategically bringing in high-growth tactics to enable scaling. - Familiarity with data analytics platforms and customer research methodologies. The anticipated salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role will be $160,000 - $210,000 (not including discretionary bonus, equity, and benefits). The final salary offered will be dependent on several factors that include but are not limited to relevant previous experience including duration and type of experience within the industry, education, and internal equity.
