Location: Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City Shift: Full Time (40 hours/week) Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts 7a-5:30p Overview: Under the direct supervision of the Special Procedures supervisor, performs Interventional Radiology and special procedures examinations requiring knowledge and special skills in the operation of a variety of specialized radiographic equipment, radiation safety devices and procedural equipment. Qualifications: Associate IR Special Procedure Technologist
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours Experience: no experience required Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Certification: ARRT ( R ); Basic Life Support (BLS)
IR Special Procedure Technologist
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Certification: AART (R) OR RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS) Current Associate IR Special Procedure Technologist who are moving to IR Special Procedure Technologist title on the career ladder must complete all required Associate IR Special Procedure Technologist competencies
Advanced IR Special Procedure Technologist
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Certification: ARRT ( R ) with 1 Advanced registry (CI, or VI) OR RCIS OR ARRT ( R ) with 5 years of relevant experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) Current IR Special Procedure Technologist who are moving to Advanced IR Special Procedure Technologist title on the career ladder must complete all required Associate AND IR Special Procedure Technologist competencies.
Senior IR Special Procedure Technologist
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Certification: ARRT ( R ) with 1 Advanced registry (CI, or VI) OR RCIS OR ARRT ( R ) with 5 years of relevant experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) Current Advanced IR Special Procedure Technologist who are moving to Senior IR Special Procedure Technologist title on the career ladder must complete all required Advanced IR Special Procedure Technologist competencies.
This is a career-ladder position. The level at which the successful candidate is hired will be determined based on education, certification/licensure, and relevant imaging experience.
