Under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Services Medical Director and Department Director, The Polysomnography Technician is responsible for providing Sleep Testing services in accordance with specific physician's orders, department policies and procedures.
Position Details:

Overview: Responsible for performing overnight sleep studies on pediatric and adult patients. Responsibilities include equipment setup, patient preparation, and subsequent overnight monitoring. Implementation of hospital and departmental safety, infection control, and quality assurance measures are required. Performs related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education: HS Diploma/equivalent OR Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program Equipment Used: Polysomnographic recording instrumentation, PCs, accessory equipment. Preferred Education: Additional college level biological science coursework preferred. Preferred Experience: Health care work experience beneficial with Sleep Medicine experience.
