Description & Requirements
The HR Generalist performs a variety of moderately complex human resources functions and serves as a key contributor to both regional and firm-wide HR initiatives. This role supports the Regional HR Business Partner and HR Manager, while collaborating closely with HR Administrators. Responsibilities span across multiple HR processes, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee status changes and terminations, benefits administration, and general HR operations. What You Will Do: Administers and executes routine HR functions, including benefits and leave programs, disciplinary actions, employee relations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, culture, and training and development. Interprets and applies company policies; seeks guidance from HR leadership when needed. Escalates employee relations issues-such as complaints, disciplinary matters, grievances, terminations, and harassment allegations-to HR leadership and follows provided direction. Supports onboarding, offboarding, and career progression processes. Responds to employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex or sensitive matters to appropriate personnel. Attends and documents employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews internal policies and practices to maintain compliance. Stays current on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law. Reviews reports and analytics to provide insights and support HR leadership. Maintains and secures confidential personnel records. Identifies and escalates potential HR risks to leadership. Monitors and supports performance management processes. Provides guidance on employee benefits and ensures new hires understand enrollment deadlines and plan details. Participates in HR projects to improve processes, support culture, and implement updates as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience working in HR(Confirm with Team what is relevant) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Current and valid SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPH
