Overview

Amyx is seeking experienced Procurement Specialists to support full life-cycle federal acquisition activities for our contract within the Department of Energy (DOE) Manufacturing Energy Supply Chain Office (MESC) in the Washington, D.C. area. This role will assist with pre-award and post-award procurement functions, ensure FAR compliance, and coordinate with program offices and contracting staff.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

    Support Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) with procurement support and assist with the coordination of acquisition-related tasks.
  • Assist staff with gathering program requirements.
  • Support acquisition planning and technical requirements by drafting program requisites needed for acquisitions, including planning, and developing solicitation artifacts (e.g., SOWs, IGCEs, JOFOCs).
  • Assist with contract administration, including processing requisitions and contract actions.
  • Perform market analysis to determine availability of the requirements or offerors.
  • Support source selection and evaluation activities.
  • Attend meetings, take notes, provide acquisition insights and recommendations, track decisions, actions, issues, and general status of acquisition related tasks while supporting government staff to acquire or exchange information
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance.
  • Develop metrics reports, respond to data calls, and information inquiries.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Must possess at least 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain.
  • Must be able to work on-site at DOE HQ in Washington, DC up to two (2) days per week.

Desired Skills:

  • 3+ years of federal procurement experience and knowledge of the FAR.
  • Knowledge of DOE-specific acquisitions regulations.
  • FAC-C or DAWIA Level I or higher.
  • Familiar with STRIPES or similar federal contract writing management systems e.g. PRISM).
  • Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or equivalent.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
  • Ability to perform and manage your assigned tasks, without daily supervision
