Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our 3rd shift team.

This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Your Responsibilities:

• Use attention to detail to verify that final work products (statements and letters) match written instructions and meet production standards

• Examine materials by confirming required manufacturing or industry specifications through visual and measurement tests

• Reject and return unacceptable materials and document rework as needed

• Explain quality issues to operators and supervisors when products do not meet client instructions

• Move throughout the facility to verify job accuracy across multiple machines

• Cross-train in different departments to further develop skills (postal, shipping, hand table)

• Report quality concerns or issues to senior management immediately

• Ensure all outgoing product is 100% accurate

• Input data into the production database

• Learn the production process and the role Quality Assurance plays within it

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and regulations

• Inspect materials and products for conformance to specifications using fixed or preset measuring instruments

• Ensure materials and products meet tolerance levels for quality and performance and are not irregular or damaged

Your Shift: Sunday - Monday | 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

You Must Have:

• Strong attention to detail

• Basic measuring skills, including the ability to read a ruler and other measuring devices

• Basic problem-solving skills

• Basic computer skills (open, save, print files, enter data)

• Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on the production schedule

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information so others will understand

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods

• Regular operation of machinery and handling of print materials

• Frequent movement throughout the facility

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 25+ pounds

We Would Also Prefer:

• Prior experience in the print industry or a fast-paced, high-production environment

Compensation:
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour. The actual base rate offered depends on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or licenses held, and the location from which the applicant will perform the job. The range listed is one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package.
