Job Overview

We are currently looking for an Associate Financial Analyst to join our team in Holland, MI.



This entry-level Associate Financial Analyst role provides foundational experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support the organization's strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include assisting with core financial tasks, learning company processes, and building a strong understanding of fundamental financial principles.

The position will collaborate with a global network of finance professionals to consolidate and report financial plans and performance to senior leadership. The role offers exposure to strategic planning and accounting practices through primary support of the Latin America region, as well as ownership of competitive and industry reporting, including preparation of materials for the Board of Directors. Additional responsibilities include driving improvements in reporting and analysis across the team, coordinating and publishing global Orders, Shipments, and Backlog reports, and supporting quarterly planning activities and Board of Directors deliverables.

Essential Functions

  • Assist with audits, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and legal requirements.
  • Continuously develop accounting and finance knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
  • Through assigned work, self-initiative and performance, establish professional rapport with peers, leadership and internal customers.
  • Collect data and create reports in order to provide initial analysis and draw conclusions.
  • Provide support on special projects as needed, such as process improvements or system implementations.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,or equivalent area of study.
  • Education Equivalency (if no completed bachelor's level degree):

    • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent area of study plus 2 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles, or
    • High school diploma plus 4 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles.




Experience:



  • No professional exprience is required with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military



Additionally:



  • Ability to work in Holland, MI, without relocation assistance.
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Finance and Accounting working experience.
  • Experience with PowerBI.
  • Experience with Python.
