What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location.
• Maintain accurate logs of visitor and contractor activity as required by site-specific policies.
• Assist in customer service functions by answering questions and providing directions to visitors and employees as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents and security-related situations, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct both regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and identify any irregularities.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to communicate observed security-related issues or concerns.
• Follow all site-specific procedures and protocols to maintain the integrity of access control at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
