As a Security Officer - Tech Facility in Hillsboro, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and telecommunications environment. Your presence and attentive patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your excellent communication and customer service skills provide reassurance to those on site. What You'll Do:

• Deliver excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain awareness of the unique needs and potential risks associated with a technology-focused location.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while upholding security-related standards.
• Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry or restricted area violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
