What You'll Do:

• Monitor and operate dispatch systems to coordinate security-related activities within the utilities location.
• Receive and relay information between security personnel and site management to facilitate prompt response to incidents and/or service requests.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all calls, incidents, and communications occurring during the shift.
• Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and security-related procedures as directed.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from staff, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact appropriate personnel as required.
• Support regular and random patrol operations by dispatching officers and tracking their status.
• Participate in emergency response activities by communicating emergency information and coordinating resources as instructed by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
