Role/Purpose: The Head of Business Area Service is responsible for the development and delivery of 'Best in Class' customer Service with the aim of developing the Service performance to 'World Class' level at a speed determine by resource allocation and market developments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Define and implement the PIU service business/service delivery strategy, addressing areas such as preventative maintenance, field repair, depot repair, calibration, warranty, service pricing, service contracts, regulatory compliance services, remote support services. Recruit, develop and manage a strong functional management team. Continuous improvement in Customer Satisfaction level as measured by a number of main KPIs. Grow Service Revenue and profitability at 2xProduct sales growth - however depending on market conditions. Provide accurate and substantial amounts of feedback from field and office experiences to the POs. By preparing and providing significant 'Soft Skills' training to all customer facing personal to make most interactions a positive experience for the customers of Mettler Toledo Safeline. Develop concepts for future service offerings and the delivery of service, as customer needs, PIUS products, and technologies change. Other duties and tasks as assigned. What You Need to Succeed Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Management experience and leadership skills. Good organizational and prioritizing skills. Ability to set stretch goals and provide close follow up. Good communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to motivate a large and diverse staff - through infrequent meetings. Good understanding of Metal Detection and X-Ray Inspection technologies. Ability to meet tight deadlines. Leading by example when it comes to effort, attention to detail and use of company. Minimum Education / Experience Required: 4 Year degree - technical or commercial/Financial A minimum of 10 years of experience in management. Proficient in SAP, SLX, and Windows Office package.
