As a Security Professional - Access Control Chemical/Petrochemical in Pasadena, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, manage visitor access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to chemical and petrochemical facilities, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry to restricted areas.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards within the location to support a secure working environment.
• Follow site-specific protocols for access control while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary according to protocol.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors and employees in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized access or activities.
• Assist with emergency response activities, following established procedures for chemical or petrochemical environments.
• Document security-related incidents and activities thoroughly in daily reports for management review.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
