Security Officer - Library Patrol

As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Team in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, maintaining a strong and visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents as they arise, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and professionalism. By working as part of a team that values reliability, agility, and integrity, you will contribute to a welcoming and secure environment for all who visit or work at the location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, assist with emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help minimize disruption or risk at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
