JOB TITLE: Manager Software Engineer

LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344

DUTIES: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. Duties include: Lead a team responsible for providing production support for US/Onshore clients with restricted data, including PHI (Protected Health Information), PII (Personally Identifiable Information); Ensure applications meet demanding standards for privacy and security as required by strict internal policies and industry-specific regulations; Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and one-on-one sessions to ensure continuous development and alignment with company goals; and Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on production status and resolutions.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a Engineering-related occupation. Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:

* Healthcare systems, including claims processing, eligibility, provider management, benefits configuration, and compliance with HIPAA and CMS regulations;
* Leading development and integration of enterprise applications using the Microsoft .NET framework, including ASP.NET, C#, and Java technologies;
* Oracle database design, PL/SQL development, performance tuning, and integration with healthcare platforms such as Facets and Trizetto;
* Integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models into healthcare IT systems, deploying scalable solutions using cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
* Python development for automation, data analysis, and backend services tailored to healthcare environments;
* Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and interoperable solutions across healthcare systems;
* Managing full project lifecycles using Agile, Scrum, and hybrid methodologies;
* Project budgeting, cost control, financial forecasting, and ROI analysis to ensure alignment with business goals; and
* Configuring and optimizing batch jobs and workflows to enhance operational efficiency in healthcare systems.

RATE OF PAY: $156,291.00 - $201,547.00/year
