Security Officer - Hotel Full Time

As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol Full Time in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the hotel and resort environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and surrounding perimeter to observe and report any suspicious activity or situations.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the location.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
• Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to address concerns and maintain security-related presence as needed.
• Support access control procedures and enforce guest and visitor protocols as directed by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
