As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry and exit points at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your role involves conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assisting employees and visitors with professionalism and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry or activity.
• Verify the identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors entering the location.
• Maintain accurate records of access control activities, including logs of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to carry out security-related procedures and support site-specific emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas within the business and perimeter to observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
