What you'll do

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Materials Planner to join our dynamic team in Carlsbad, CA or Tempe, AZ! This hybrid role offers the unique blend of working collaboratively within our offices and the flexibility of remote work.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in materials planning for innovative products. You will collaborate across departments to ensure the right materials are available at the right time, keeping projects on track and meeting customer commitments.


The day-to-day

  • Learn and contribute to developing materials plans, identifying potential issues and solutions.
  • Understand Bill of Materials (BOM), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Master Production Schedule (MPS) for accurate demand planning.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to gather information, address material needs, and communicate updates.
  • Support expediting, de-expediting, and re-planning activities to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Gain exposure to internal and external manufacturing capabilities.
  • Work with engineers and planners to optimize materials planning.
  • Contribute to reviewing and maintaining BOM accuracy for system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and supplier quality teams to gain insights into sourcing and management strategies.

What you'll need

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quick learning curve.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach are essential.

What will help you on the job

  • 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or procurement (a plus).
  • Basic understanding of inventory management concepts (e.g., Just-in-Time).
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.

Salary range

$60,000.00 - $94,000.00 / annually.
For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $74,500.00- $111,500.00/ annually
