What You'll Do

You are someone who...



  • Demonstrates pride, ownership, and accountability for your work, and expect the same from those you work with

The Skills and Experience You'll Bring



  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, or in a similar role with a focus on building data infrastructure for analytical or product purposes.
  • Track record of enabling product teams to make decisions using data
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g. Snowflake), and data modeling concepts and tools (e.g. DBT)
  • Proficiency in Python (or similar Object-Oriented Programming)
  • Experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and data ingestion processes
  • Experience with implementing monitoring and alerting for data pipelines
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent experience


We'd be extra excited if



  • You have prior experience with payments, accounting, or financial technology
  • You have direct experience managing sensitive financial records
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and their data services (e.g. S3, Lambda)
  • Knowledge of stream processing frameworks (e.g. Kafka)
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)

For Washington-based candidates, in compliance with the Washington State Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this role is $140,000.00 - $188,000.00 + target bonus. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
