WHAT YOU WILL DO

Job Duties

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Responsible for creation, implementation, and management of data analytics and metrics for all Prospect Management and Research (PMR) outreach efforts to increase retention and acquisition rates, including evaluation and tailoring of data models to meet business needs. Pulls reports on data trends, proactively identifies PMR data needs, develops timely reports, and shares analysis to inform strategy and provide efficiencies within team.

  • Collaborates with Director of Prospect Management & Research to produce and distribute a suite of reports that focus on program metrics.

Data Segmentation:

  • Lead staff responsible for developing and monitoring the data segmentation plan, which serves as the foundation for division-wide annual solicitation and engagement plans. Provides complex segmentation to tailor messaging to specific audiences. Develops systems for tracking annual giving tests with variable data and design.

List Management:

  • Manages data needs, data review, list management and vendor output files for PMR ongoing programs and one-time projects, such as direct mail, email outreach, Georgia State Day, stewardship and engagement projects, complex donor list requests from Advancement IT.

Best Practices and Fundraising Trends:

  • Analyzes specialized reports and assists the Executive Director with creating tactics on how to improve the program.

  • Provides trend analysis, benchmarking, and input on analytics, predictive modeling techniques, and fundraising data.

  • Research new technology/software products, methodologies, and industry best practices. Consults with PMR team and creates implementation plans for solutions to accomplish, improve, or automate processes and provides recommendations.

Collaboration and Customer Service:

  • Builds and maintains positive and collaborative relationships with Advancement IT, Prospect Management & Research, and other campus partners as necessary. Provides technical expertise and leadership for the PMR team on data retrieval procedures, visual data reporting, and complex data analysis to meet the needs of PMR and UA.

Other Duties

Qualifications :

Minimum Hiring Standards:

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
