Reporting to the Global CIO of Hoya Vision Care, the Global Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations Services global position is responsible the design, implementation, management, and support of the global Hoya Vision Care IT infrastructure, its related technologies and services. This role demands an experienced leader with a keen interest and aspiration in delivering reliable infrastructure and support services for the benefits of the operations, growth, and transformation of the digital capabilities of the company. The person in role leads the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of cloud services supporting infrastructure and application delivery for Hoya Vision Care and is responsible for aligning our IT Infrastructure and Services strategy with business operations, objectives, and outcomes. The successful candidate possesses solid and proven experience in the implementation and management of cloud platforms and services, the build/selection and supervision a fit for purpose Help Desk service, and the establishment of a change management process. Most notably, the Vice President is proactively monitoring the level of service delivered by cloud service providers, the quality of support provided by the IT Infrastructure & Operations Services and IT in general, and ensure troubleshooting and resolution are promptly executed for the benefit of the company's operations. As a Global Senior IT Leader, the Global Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations Services works with Business Partners and IT Senior Leaders to understand performance, reliability, resilience, and support challenges in Hoya Vision Care digital landscape and can lead corrective actions across IT and its service providers. The successful candidate embraces service mindset, structure and rigor, possesses proven experience in defining and managing support tools and procedures, and has the ability, through proactive communication and meetings, updates and reporting with the team, stakeholders, and business partners to implement the infrastructure capability and support services Hoya Vision Care requires for its efficient and successful business operations. This position will work directly with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to ensure alignment and reliable response to real time managed detection, response, and recovery actions. Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Strategy & Roadmap
- Align with organizational goals and emerging technologies.
- Define and implement technology and service roadmaps.
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to ensure infrastructure supports business objectives.
- Cloud & On-Prem Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the design, deployment, and management of scalable infrastructures (Azure, AWS, GCP, SAP S/4 HANA).
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Manage cloud services and data centers focusing on scalability, resilience, and security.
- Service Level Management & Vendor Relations
- Define, manage, and oversee SLAs, vendor contracts, and supplier relationships.
- Promote IT value through appropriate infrastructure solutions and support services.
- Collaborate with external providers and key stakeholders.
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
- Develop and implement disaster recovery, emergency response, and crisis management plans.
- Ensure backup, storage, retrieval, and critical data management are well-governed.
- Security & Compliance
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to maintain security and compliance across all platforms.

- Develop and manage IT infrastructure budgets for cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- Ensure optimal allocation of resources for IT infrastructure services.
- Operations & End-User Solutions
- Oversee IT service management tools, controls, and reporting.
- Manage end-user solutions (PCs, office solutions, mobility standards, helpdesk support).
- Ensure efficient incident resolution and service delivery.
- Change Management & Governance
- Implement business-efficient change management controls and standards.
- Establish governance for IT systems and services to ensure smooth operations.
- Strategic Collaboration & Integration
- Partner with IT departments to design and implement infrastructure strategies.
- Align infrastructure strategy with the company's operational goals and future initiatives.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and communicate infrastructure risks and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Other relevant certifications such as CCNP, CISA, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or equivalent.
- Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful infrastructure and support strategies (network, servers, VM's, PC's, ...).
- Minimum of 10 years of business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with managing global teams distributed over different time zones and continents.
- Proven experience in deploying and enforcing Cybersecurity measures over a worldwide, distributed, and complex digital environment supporting diverse business functions.
- Demonstrate knowledge regarding best practices in disaster recovery governance.
- Knowledge and Hard Skills
- Understanding of SD-WAN, software-defined networking.
- Knowledge of cloud networking in major platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in Active Directory architecture and management.
- Expert level IT infrastructure and networking technical knowledge.

- Understanding of application performance through traffic engineering, load balancing, and bandwidth management.
