As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol Specialist in Bloomington, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and assist with access control as needed. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, providing customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter security-related incidents and report any suspicious activity.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or site needs.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
