As a Security Officer - Logistics Screening Specialist in Middletown, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role at a bustling logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Conduct screening of individuals and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and to maintain security-related standards at the site.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Perform regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and to observe any unusual activity.
• Communicate and collaborate with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to company and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
