As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Denver, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment for all personnel and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols throughout assigned areas and remain highly visible to support a secure atmosphere. Your excellent communication and customer service skills will be key as you respond to inquiries and provide assistance. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities within logistics and distribution locations.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors, helping to maintain authorized entry to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for logistics and distribution environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and observe for any irregularities.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols or at access points.
• Assist with monitoring and controlling vehicle and pedestrian traffic to help to maintain orderly flow and compliance with site policies.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to support the security-related needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
