What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a tech, media, and telecom environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, involving security-related or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual observations.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and management, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as appropriate.
• Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and reporting any irregularities.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site representatives to help to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
