About the Role

The Business Analyst, Financial Systems is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise financial applications. This role will collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to ensure financial systems align with business needs, improve operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with financial regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Workday Financials, a strong understanding of financial processes and reporting, and the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance financial systems to drive business success.

What You'll Do

Financial Systems Support & Optimization

  • Provide technical and functional support for Workday Financial Management and other financial applications.
  • Assist in system configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Workday modules such as Core Financials, Accounts Payable, Expenses, Revenue Management, Projects, Projects Billing, and Reporting.
  • Work with Finance and Accounting teams to identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements.
  • Support system upgrades, new feature implementations, and testing efforts to improve financial system functionality.

Data Analysis & Financial Reporting

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics tools to support financial decision-making.
  • Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and financial system audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Work with stakeholders to improve financial reporting capabilities and automate manual reporting processes.

System Integrations & Process Improvement

  • Support integrations between financial platforms, including ERP, payroll, expense management, financial planning, and banking systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to optimize system performance and streamline business processes.
  • Assist with testing and validating data flows between Workday and integrated financial systems.

Compliance & Security Management

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies within financial systems.
  • Maintain user access controls and security configurations to enforce financial data integrity.
  • Collaborate with internal audit teams to support system security, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation efforts.

Must haves:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent, or eight years or more working in a similar role.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Workday Financials or other enterprise financial applications.
  • Experience supporting financial systems, reporting tools, and data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, expenses, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Workday Financials, including reporting, security roles, and business process configurations.
  • Experience with data analysis, report writing, and financial analytics tools.
  • Basic knowledge of system integrations (Workday Studio, APIs, EIBs).

Nice to haves:

  • 5 years Workday Financials experience.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting tools integrated with Workday.
  • Prior experience supporting ERP or SaaS-based financial applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and financial integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting financial systems, reporting tools, and data analytics.

Where We Work

At ACRT Services we prefer in-person employee interaction and we rely on collaboration among groups to be successful and agile, which means we expect work in the office to continue as an important part of our company culture and a key to employee success. This position is a hybrid role, with a mix of remote and on-site work as required.

Standard office equipment will be provided to work in the office and at home - a dedicated space at home to work is also required. Uninterrupted home-based internet is a must in your home to attend and host video calls, along with a minimum bandwidth speed of 20 mbps. If you do not have an in-home office space or cannot meet the internet needs, an office space will be provided for you in the company's Stow, Ohio office.
