Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Windsor, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and interacting with individuals on-site to provide excellent customer service. This is an armed and driving post, where your presence and professionalism contribute to a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere. What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
  • Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using problem-solving skills to address the circumstances appropriately.
  • Conduct both regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions based on site needs.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and professional conduct.
  • Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a current armed guard card or license.
  • Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
