What this job involves: JLL is seeking a Solution Prep Associate to join our team. This role will support our client's Manufacturing Science & Technology, Process Development, Analytical Science Technology, and Process Development Analytics groups. This role's primary responsibility is the preparation of buffer and media solutions in volumes from 1- 500L.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Responsible for preparation of a variety of buffer and media solutions utilized in testing and biologics development.
  • Utilizing client systems to document and track the fulfillment of solution orders.
  • Comply with all GXP regulations and documentation while performing services in applicable areas.
  • Collect and supply metrics as required by management.
  • Ensures that appropriate documentation is submitted and takes prompt action to correct conditions found to be out of compliance or unsafe.
  • Performs additional job duties as requested. Cross-trains peers to ensure business continuity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of laboratory support experience within the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Proven ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment including balances, pH/osmolality meters, mixing vessels, and stir plates
  • Knowledge of GXP regulations and documentation requirements
  • Strong communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with ability to build relationships with scientific customers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds and work with large volume solutions (1-500L)
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities and cross-train in multiple areas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of laboratory support experience within the biopharmaceutical industry, specifically with buffer and media preparation
  • Experience with Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELNs) and laboratory information management systems
  • Knowledge of biologics development processes and manufacturing science principles
  • Experience in Process Development, Analytical Science Technology, or related pharmaceutical development areas
  • Previous experience working in GMP/GLP regulated environments
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with performance metrics collection and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor colleagues
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and equipment maintenance protocols

Salary/Comp: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Estimated compensation for this position:

52,000.00 - 56,160.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
