As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond quickly to situations as they arise. This armed post requires you to demonstrate professionalism and strong communication skills while delivering exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training as an armed security professional.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout government premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor and report on security-related risks or unusual conditions at the location, taking appropriate action as required by site protocols.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings at all times and communicate with Allied Universal management as needed regarding incidents and observations.
• Assist visitors and employees in a professional manner, providing guidance and information as required.
• Follow all regulations and laws pertaining to armed security professionals, including the responsible handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.

What We're Looking For:

• Required: Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Required: Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
