INTERN - IT SECURITY ENGINEER Application Deadline: December 1, 2025 DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Contribute to Nintendo's IT Security team on risk management, security governance and operations, including ongoing maintenance and optimization of the security tool stack and documentation Identify repeatable tasks and develop automation solutions to improve security operations Collaborate with key IT security stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement Utilize vulnerability management tools to identify, analyze, and determine urgency for remediation SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS: 3.0+ GPA Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a graduation conferral date between May 2026 and June 2027 Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields Knowledge of at least one modern programming language like Python, Java, JavaScript Foundational understanding of information security concepts Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with stakeholders across departments Adept at data analysis, with the ability to turn raw data into meaningful security intelligence Curious and proactive approach to uncover and investigate security challenges Legally authorized to work in the United States Able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the course of the 10-week summer internship between June 15 - August 21 A completed Internship Questionnaire following application This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. This internship includes a base pay rate of $30 per hour, paid sick and safe time, and perks such as a local transit pass and access to the onsite fitness center. Given the limited duration of the role, interns are not eligible for full-time employee benefits such as healthcare or 401(k). #LI-DNI
