Summary Job Description: RN Patient Care Advocate - Patient Experience Full-time, Monday - Friday (3:00p-11:30p) 15% shift differential Job Description: Receives, handles, and responds to patient complaints, grievances, and other needs. Serves as a liaison by listening to concerns, identifying opportunities for improvement, and seeking solutions through appropriate administrative channels. Collaborates with the healthcare team to enhance patient care and communication among patients, families, physicians, and caregivers. Assists patients and the public with advance directives and coordinates operational tasks related to the patient experience survey process. This role may be assigned to different patient care areas, including inpatient and outpatient units or the Emergency Department. While core responsibilities remain consistent, the pace and focus of work may vary by assignment. The Patient Representative Coordinator assigned to inpatient and outpatient areas also serve as the Patient & Family Engagement (PFE) Coordinator, providing leadership to the Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC). Those assigned to the Emergency Department provide real-time support to patients and families in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, assisting with communication between care providers and patients, addressing concerns promptly, and helping manage expectations during periods of high patient volume and extended wait times Requirements:
