As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver Part-Time in Marina Del Rey, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols in a government location. This post requires both armed and driving responsibilities, so you will be entrusted with upholding security-related standards while operating a vehicle and carrying the appropriate equipment. What You'll Do:

    Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques and/or emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor for suspicious activities and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
  • Interact professionally with members of the public, staff, and law enforcement personnel as needed while representing Allied Universal.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and observations during shifts.
  • Comply with all legal regulations and site-specific guidelines pertaining to armed posts and the use of force, as well as Allied Universal policies.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • An Armed Guard Card or Armed Guard License is required.
  • A California Weapons Permit with 9mm caliber endorsement is required.
  • Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton training is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
