KPMG is currently seeking a Director, SAP S4 Public Cloud Record to Report (R2R) Lead to join our Advisory Services practice

Responsibilities:
  • Lead business development activities by identifying opportunities, crafting proposals, and presenting integrated enterprise solutions that align SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Record to Report (R2R) solution and its technical ecosystem (including SAP BTP, Datasphere, and Databricks) with client transformation goals
  • Guide clients through ERP selection and discovery assessments, defining future-state finance architectures, building business cases, and developing transformation roadmaps that support digital finance objectives
  • Direct large-scale finance transformation initiatives by aligning SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud capabilities with the organization's strategic goals, focusing on core Record to Report (R2R) processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Financial Close, and Reporting
  • Oversee the design and implementation of end-to-end R2R solutions, including chart of accounts harmonization, intercompany processing, tax and statutory reporting, and financial consolidation, ensuring alignment with global standards and compliance requirements
  • Lead large-scale SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud programs from a finance perspective, managing cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring timely delivery of R2R workstreams while maintaining financial discipline and achieving margin targets
  • Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to R2R consultants and finance transformation teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement; represent the R2R practice at industry forums and contribute to thought leadership through the development of digital finance assets and methodologies
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of ten years of recent external management consulting experience with a focus on finance transformation, including at least two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations in the Record to Report domain, and a proven ability to lead stakeholder engagement, shape finance strategy, and deliver business outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field from an accredited college/university; MBA or CPA certification preferred
  • Proven experience in leading at least six full lifecycle SAP implementations focused on Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Financial Close; demonstrated ability to solutions and, define business-centric solutions, and integrate R2R processes with upstream and downstream modules such as Procurement, Sales, and Project Systems
  • Exceptional program management and delivery execution skills in finance transformation programs, with experience leading all phases from planning and design through build, testing, cutover, and hyper care, while managing risks, issues, dependencies, and aligning with finance stakeholders
  • Proven leadership in driving finance transformation and team performance, evidenced by mentoring and developing R2R talent, fostering process innovation, and producing high-quality, client-ready deliverables and thought leadership in digital finance
  • Travel as needed
