Job Scope

This position is responsibile for leading the Operational Excellence Program at DiaSorin Inc.. A business strategy designed to perpetuate continuous improvement in all our manufacturing and supply chain processes. The expected outcome is a reduction in cost and increase in capacity

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a core member of the Operational Excellence team, this person has responsibility for meeting all elements of the OpEx plan

Improving plant performance, plus achieving OpEx savings targets and managing Lean/ Green Belt/ Black Belt Certifications

Develops, coordinates and drives the Operational Excellence deployment plan in plant

Assists senior leaders and champions in selecting projects and candidates that align with plant goals and strategies

Responsible for deploying OpEx initiatives in the plant. Examples of these programs include SPC deployment, Lean deployment

Program oversight and Professional Development responsibilities for OpEx Leaders and Associate OpEx Leaders within plant

Coaches and mentors plant OpEx Leaders and Associate OpEx Leaders to ensure their continued development in Six Sigma and Lean

Responsible for the planning and delivery of the organization's OpEx training and for the timely completion of certifications. Conducts ad-hoc training on specific tools as required

Ensures project tracking system and business results are maintained, and results are communicated/summarized monthly

Works with leadership in installing organizational supports for Operational Excellence (reviews, communications, rewards, software, etc.)

Leads plant projects of significant size and scope

Supports mechanisms for knowledge sharing and best-practice knowledge transfer among Operational Excellence practitioners

Supports Global Harmonization efforts by being an active contributor on the Global Operational Excellence team

Education, Experience, and Qualifications




  • BS/BA degree or equivalent degree in Business Management, Engineering, or other related field of study.
  • MBA, MS or other technical graduate degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in process improvement, manufacturing or operations
  • Strong leadership, verbal and written communications, organizational and team skills.
  • Works collaboratively within group as well as within interdisciplinary teams
  • Manages time effectively demonstrating ability to perform multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills



What we offer

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - 155,000 Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being. Benefits may vary by role, country, region, union status, and other employment status factors. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. An incentive award, if any, depends on various factors, including, individual and organizational performance.
