Nationality Requirements

Production Hours are Monday to Thursday 5pm to 3:30am tentatively

Job Description

Duties Responsible:

Perform a wide variety of general maintenance functions including facilities maintenance, machine troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Apply knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and metal fabrication to complete assigned job tasks. Perform maintenance job tasks with a high degree of attention to safety and maintenance best practices.

  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.

  • Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.

  • Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.

  • Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.

  • Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.

  • Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.

  • Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Required Skills and Abilities:

The Ideal candidate must possess the following

  • Associates Degree in Technology, Technical Certificate, or Maintenance/Technical Experience in Military with a minimum of 4 years of related practical experience OR minimum of 7+ years of related practical experience with no formal training or degree
  • 3+ years of experience in machine troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance
  • Must hold a valid driver's license with clean driving record for occasional driving of company vehicle
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance. Security Clearances are granted to US Citizens.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • Electrical certification or Journeyman's Certificate
  • Experience with PLCs and robotics
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70: National Electrical Code & NFPA 70E: Electrical Safety in the Workplace
  • OSHA Training
  • Forklift and aerial lift experience
  • Welding experience
  • Strong problem solver
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • History of making sound decisions and taking initiative
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities
  • Basic plumbing and carpentry skills
  • Experience with machine and hand tools common to the trade including but not limited to digital multimeter, pipe threader, table saw, and drill press
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems ranging from 120V to 480V, including machine control circuitry
  • Familiarity with facilities maintenance

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically capable of performing all maintenance functions - includes ability to climb, to work beneath machines, and in close quarters
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Normal color vision and finger dexterity
