Director Interprofessional Education

The College of Health & Human Services at Western Michigan University seeks to fill the director interprofessional education position.

This position leads and coordinates interprofessional education initiatives across academic units and University auxiliary health services.
Collaborates with faculty, staff, administrators, and clinical partners to promote interdisciplinary learning and team-based care preparation in diverse health and human service environments.

Minimum Requirements

Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Five years' relevant experience.
Experience in academic, clinical or healthcare education setting.
Demonstrated knowledge of interprofessional education principles, practices and accreditation standards.
Experience leading cross-disciplinary initiatives or projects.
Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.
Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-function disciplines.
Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to travel.
