We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join Endress+Hauser Optical Analysis, the global leader in Raman spectroscopy, tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS), and quenched fluorescence (QF) instrumentation for laboratory, process, and manufacturing environments. Our laser-based analyzer systems perform high-performance chemical composition and concentration measurement of all phases of matter in any installation environment. What is the role about? The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for performing receiving inspections for holographic programs and supporting quality engineering with detailed administrative tasks. Which essential functions will you perform?
- Receive and inspect incoming parts and supplies supporting holographic programs.
- Perform incoming inspections against engineering prints and specifications, accurately documenting results.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and Stores to properly route incoming products.
- Coordinate with Service and Manufacturing to efficiently process returns (RMAs).
- Perform minor dimensional analysis (example equipment: calipers, micrometers, 3D scanner).
- Record inspection and analysis results in central database and appropriately classify findings.
- Work closely with the Manufacturing, Quality, and Service teams in a collaborative environment to resolve supply chain issues.
- Coordinate measurement devices to be sent to vendor for calibration and verification.
- Support Quality Engineering with disposition of non-conforming materials.
- Assist with additional inspection tasks as needed to support operational demands.
- Complete assignments and tasks as directed by Quality Management.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician certification is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience performing or supporting Quality operations is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate technical information across departments including Quality Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with an understanding of cause-and-effect relationships.
- Basic root cause analysis and investigative skills.
- Knowledge of basic Quality Control tools.
- Computer proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Experience in optical/mechanical inspection is preferred.
- Instrument manufacturing and/or electronics testing experience is a plus.
