Job Description

General Summary:

The Manufacturing Operations Sr. Specialist is responsible for set-up, assembly, operation, disassembly, and cleaning of discontinuous drug product process equipment. The operator performs GMP and development manufacturing activities and maintains the facility in a GMP state.

This position reports directly to a Manufacturing Manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Technical lead on GMP activities for standalone manufacturing equipment
  • Manufacturing of commercial, clinical, and development discontinuous drug products
  • Assembly, Set up, Disassembly, and Operation of discontinuous process equipment
  • In-process cleaning of equipment and process rooms
  • Authoring manufacturing documentation and procedures
  • May also support continuous manufacturing
  • May be a process subject matter expert and train others
  • May function as a supervisor

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to work with complex mechanical equipment and basic tools
  • Ability to supervise others
  • Strong analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence others and work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to operate automated systems and computer programs

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical discipline
  • 2+ years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience related to GMP manufacturing
  • Experience in Oral Solid Dosage GMP manufacturing or formulation development
  • Strong analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Electronic Lab Notebooks
  • Ability to influence others and work independently and in a team environment

Pay Range:

$95,600 - $143,300

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Flex Eligibility Status:

In this On-Site designated role, you will work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
