This Position reports to:

Digital Solution Engineering Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to initiate and drive technology, software, product, and/or solution development using in-depth technical expertise in a specific area. Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development (R&D) for in-depth product or technology-related issues. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting strategic corporate technology management and future product/software/solution architecture.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Energy Industry Division in Bangalore.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • To provide broad technical software support, training, pilots and consulting services for clients and to carry out the implementation of company software product in Energy Industries.
  • Highly skilled in Defining the architecture of new products, as well as maintenance and life cycle strategy of existing products and leading the design, development, testing and deployment of web application hosted on cloud environments.
  • Architecting the productivity improvements initiatives like continuous integration and deployment.
  • Analyze and gather customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions for Digital R&D projects for Energy Industries.
  • Work with Project Managers and Product Owners to define scope, features and estimates for new projects.
  • Plan project activities with local and remote teams, capable to provide technical support to all local team.
Qualifications for the role:
  • B. E / B. Tech / MCA with 60% and above/ overall experience 10-15 years.
  • Experience in working with OPTIMAX, PA Cloud and Edgenius platforms.
  • Working with Energy industry applications & knowledge of any DCS/PLC/SCADA applications will be an added advantage.
  • Should have 10+ years of experience in application design and development using .NET framework, .NET Core, C#, Web API, ASP.NET, Grafana, PostgreSQL, Redis.
  • Experience in Design Patterns and Principles like SOLID principles, Microservices architecture, Domain Drive.
  • Design (DDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Microsoft development platforms, including .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, and Azure. Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React JS, Vue.JS) and Extensive knowledge on Database design (SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Should have strong working experience in Cloud Technologies (preferably in Azure).
