As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for all. You will have a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and interact with staff and visitors while providing exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $20.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm and problem-solving manner, while maintaining professional composure.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to assist in controlling access and observing any unusual behavior.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and local authorities as required for incident reporting and response coordination.
• Support access control measures and help to enforce property rules at the location.
• Complete site logs, incident reports, and other documentation as required for security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active armed guard card or license.
• Possess a valid pepper spray certification; may be completed post hire.
• Possess a valid guard card or license; may be completed post hire.
• Possess a valid baton certification; may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
