Security Officer - Aerospace Manufacturing Site

As a Security Officer - Aerospace Manufacturing Site in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter potential security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to those onsite. You will play a key role in supporting a secure environment, acting with integrity, reliability, and teamwork. Pay Rate: $20.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats within the aerospace or defense environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with site personnel, Allied Universal management, and/or local authorities when necessary.
• Follow all instructions and protocols specific to the aerospace and defense location, adapting to changing site requirements as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
