We're looking for a Sr. People Relations Partner to join Procore's People Partner team. This is a hands-on and strategic role where you will help develop and manage our employee relations strategies. You will serve as a primary investigator for complex employee relations matters, leveraging data to provide actionable insights while proactively identifying and managing organizational risks.

In this position, you will act as the primary liaison between employees, management, HR People Partners, and the Legal department. You will provide expert ER consultation to ensure the consistent application of policies, the mitigation of organizational risk, and a fair and objective process for all parties involved. The ideal candidate will effectively consult with and influence senior leaders, work both independently and collaboratively with various teams, and build and implement scalable, strategic solutions.

This position will report to the Director, People Relations Partner, and is ideally based in Austin, TX or Denver, CO.

What You'll Do

  • Investigate Complex Concerns: Conduct thorough, impartial, and timely investigations into workplace concerns, including claims of harassment, discrimination, misconduct, policy violations and/or retaliations.

  • Document and Report: Maintain accurate and confidential records, ensure all investigations align with legal and ethical standards, and draft detailed investigation reports with clear findings, conclusions, and actionable recommendations.

  • Analyze and Advise: Track ER trends and use data to provide insights, creating executive-level presentations to help improve workplace culture and ensure compliance.

  • Provide Expert Consultation: Advise on complex and sensitive employee relations matters to ensure fair, consistent, and risk-mitigated outcomes.

  • Drive Innovation: Champion a progressive approach to employee relations by exploring and leveraging technology, including AI, to enhance the efficiency and impact of our function.

  • Coach and Develop: Support, train, and coach leaders and other team members on emerging Employee Relations topics, policies, and best practices.

  • Lead Strategic Projects: Drive and support various projects within the People Relations scope, such as policy reviews, process improvements, and the implementation of new tools and systems.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience focused on workplace investigations. Deep expertise in leading investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, workplace misconduct, policy violations, and retaliation is essential.

  • Demonstrated interviewing, documentation, and analytical skills.

  • Proven business acumen with the ability to influence and establish credibility with senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and build a compelling narrative to present to executive audiences.

  • Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations. International experience is a plus. Being open to learning and supporting countries outside of the United States is highly desirable.

  • Experience with case management software (e.g., HRAcuity) and other HR systems, and an interest in and openness to leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other technologies to drive innovation.

  • Ability to work autonomously, manage a high volume of complex cases, and handle sensitive matters with discretion, empathy, and professionalism.

  • Experience in the technology industry and working within a scaled organization is strongly preferred.

QualificationsAdditional Information

Base Pay Range $144,000 - $198,000. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
