Job Title: "On-Call" AWS Technician
Locations: Washington, DC.
Job description:


  • The Contractor shall establish a monthly schedule for personnel to be "on-call," ensuring continuous 24/7 coverage outside of working hours in the case of a technical emergency, such as a server failure.
  • At least one personnel accepted to the contract under a Key Personnel position listed above shall be designated as "on-call" for the CO or COR to contact at any given day and time. It is recommended, but not required, to have a primary and secondary on-call assignment. On-call staff shall be reasonably expected to assist or escalate common emergency scenarios (e.g., responding to a vulnerability or active threat, re-establishing connection after server failure, etc).
  • Contractor on-call personnel are required to respond within sixty (60) minutes of receiving a call from the COR during their designated on-call shifts.
  • Contractor on-call personnel shall respond to the COR's communication(s) and work to address any reported issues until the COR is satisfied that the communication and issues have been sufficiently resolved or able to be postponed until the next business day.
  • The Contractor may propose an alternative structure to provide the appropriate level of on-call support. The proposal shall be provided to the COR in writing and will be accepted and declined after the appropriate reviews have been conducted.
