The Senior IT Manager is accountable for communicating, planning, and providing leadership to IT Care Domain, with a focus on Care Connect and associated applications. The Manager will maintain and recommend technology-enabled solutions for Care Connect and related applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategy, and serve as an execution lead for large-scale initiatives, driving strategic projects from planning to delivery. Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++), data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Proven experience as an execution lead for large-scale initiatives, driving strategic projects from planning to delivery.
- Understanding or experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), containerization (e.g., Docker), and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Understanding or experience with data analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies
What Will I Do
- Provides subject-matter-expertise and management across many technical disciplines, capabilities, services, technologies, domains or systems.
- Manages other people managers and provide leadership coaching to other managers.
- Proactively identifies, implements and manages process improvements and agile solutions within functional area.
- Leads cross-functional discussions/initiatives to anticipate and mitigate issues and achieve required outcomes within required timeframes.
- Sets, articulates and oversees achievement of goals for multiple work units/sub-units/functions.
- Responsible for direct oversight of staff, tactical execution and implementation of operational plans.
- Provides thorough subject matter expertise across several technical capabilities/disciplines/systems/services/domains and provides input and recommendations into enterprise strategy typically through providing subject matter expertise to IT Director or higher.
- Prepares thorough and articulate executive summaries for senior leadership so that subsequent questions are not required.
- Participates in ad hoc workgroups supporting IT strategy.
- Influences, interacts and makes decisions impacting across assigned disciplines, capabilities, services, technologies, domains or systems.
- Collaborates decisions with senior IT leadership.
- Ensures adherence to practices, procedures, precedents, policy and senior leadership direction.
- Tracks and ensures that expenses fall within budget.
What We Require
4+ years related work experience to include direct people management 3+ years direct people supervisory/management experience Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience IT related field Highly refined communication skills including ability to negotiate, build consensus, clearly articulate to technical and non-technical audiences, communicate difficult messages in a professional and productive manner, excellent presentation and facilitation competence and ability to represent IT as a leader in cross-functional discussions/initiatives Strong knowledge of and experience with SDLC Experience and subject matter expertise spanning across several technical disciplines, capabilities, services, technologies, domains or systems. Ability to build trust and strategic partnerships with assigned business area contacts, project teams and leadership to facilitate two-way communication Deep, thorough understanding of business processes being supported Successful experience leading people Experience mentoring and coaching other leaders Ability to understand overall IT strategy and apply/implement IT strategy in assigned projects/initiatives Expert-level ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately at all levels and audiences High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy

Annualized Targeted Offer Hiring Range: $138,200 - $172,800 Annualized Salary Range: $138,200 - $224,600
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
