SummaryOur Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems. This role requires a solid foundation in software engineering principles, proficiency in programming languages, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. As a Level 2 engineer, the individual is expected to contribute to moderately complex projects with minimal supervision and begin taking ownership of components or features. Job Description Experience Level with Business Tools Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. Knowledge Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, PhP). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of web, backend, or full-stack development is a plus. Job Complexity Develop, test, & maintain scalable and efficient software solutions * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Education and Experience Bachelors Degree (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of related experience or Masters Degree with no or little experience. Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation. Light or sedentary work that will occasionally (1-33%) require the employee to lift/move up to 23 lbs. * Reaching above and below the shoulder occasionally (1-33%). * Above-average agility and dexterity with the ability to hold, grasp, and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools occasionally (1-33%) * Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, repetitive motion, or similar activities. * Work environments include: electrical current, proximity to moving mechanical parts, and repetitive hand motion.
